expansion port info / diy controller

Post expansion port info / diy controller
Just received the bitstream expansion port info
It uses the i2c protocol , which connects via 4 pins to daisy chain 8 devices.
It looks like each device can handle 16 i/o.

Been looking around internet and found these boards

Have sent an email to this guy about his board.

Will need programming experience to make your own , diy.

This type of thing is not enough to work as an expansion module.
You miss the expansion module EEPROM for storing assignment.
You also do not have anything to handle the interrupt pin.

I feel a MCU and some firmware programming is necessary ...
